BIC, AUBH sign MoU to establish joint development programmes

Manama, February 2 (BNA) The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and the American University of Bahrain (AUBH) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate a number of mutually beneficial initiatives, including supporting student development at the American University in Abu Dhabi. As well as the staff at BIC.


The agreement was signed at a ceremony attended by the CEO of the Bahrain International Center Sheikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and the founding president of the American University in Abu Dhabi Dr. Susan Saxton, at the Bahrain Investment Center headquarters in Sakhir.


Under the agreement, BIC and AUB will establish a series of working arrangements that will assist the educational process at the university and also assist in the further career development of BIC staff.


These initiatives include creating internship opportunities for AUBH students at BIC. Provide opportunities for BIC employees and their families to benefit from the various professional certifications and degree programs at AUBH; Create extracurricular activities that will be beneficial to society; Facilitate joint marketing activities as well as speaking opportunities for BIC guests at AUBH.


Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Information Center Sheikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa commented: “We are pleased to partner with the American University of Bahrain as we are certain that it is the beginning of a fruitful and long-term relationship.


“AUBH is one of the leading higher education institutions in the Kingdom and operates with the highest international standards.


The Bank Information Center remains committed to assisting the inclusive development of youth in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and our agreement with AUBH is one way to achieve this.
