BIBF, Strathclyde to develop programmes in Digital Transformation, Sustainability, Islamic Finance

Manama, March 1 (BNA): The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) recently welcomed Professor David Heller, Dean of Strathclyde Business School, accompanied by Dr Phil Considine, Executive Education Director of Strathclyde, and Dr Ibrahim Khadra, Strathclyde. University advisor for communication with the Middle East and North Africa region, at its headquarters in Bahrain Bay.


During the visit, Professor Hellyer and his team discussed potential areas of collaboration, specifically in developing programs related to digital transformation, sustainability and Islamic finance, and explored opportunities with the institute to support the university in these areas of focus.


They also looked at the Executive Classroom, sponsored by Strathclyde Business School, to provide an executive training environment for business leaders and senior professionals.


Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh, Director of the BIBF welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation for the visit, saying, “Using our expertise in digital transformation, sustainability and Islamic finance, we look forward to working with our long-established partner of Strathclyde Business School to develop high-quality programs that meet the changing needs of industry in Bahrain and the wider region.” “
