BFA fully committed to success of Cordoba F.C.’s training camp in Bahrain

Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Football Association, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, affirmed that the Federation is fully committed to ensuring the success of the Cordoba Football Club training camp in Bahrain.

The Spanish team traveled to the furthest destination in its history to train in Manama until January 18th.

Sheikh Ali praised the steps taken by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Action and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, noting that the Federation’s Board of Directors supports His Highness’ directives to make Bahrain a state. The preferred destination for hosting various tournaments and camps.

The Cordoba Football Club training camp in Bahrain is a distinguished sporting event to which the AFC pays great care and special attention in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Federation. The General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

Sheikh Ali said that His Highness Sheikh Khalid called for activating the role of sports federations in Bahrain and enhancing their work by hosting important sports camps.

He added that the camp reinforces Bahrain’s position as a distinguished place for holding sports camps and highlights the Kingdom’s achievements at all levels, including sports.

Sheikh Ali indicated that the training camp of the Spanish club in Bahrain enhances the development goals of Bahraini football, especially that Cordoba will play two friendly matches against Al-Khalidiya and Al-Riffa clubs.

He said that there are significant advantages to direct contact between our teams with professional players from Europe, including gaining broader experience and greater experience in the technical and managerial fields.
