Nass was speaking during his reception here today, the Thai ambassador to Bahrain, Piyabak Sricharon, who reviewed with him a number of proposals to raise the volume of trade between Bahrain and Thailand.
This includes exchanging commercial visits, holding bilateral meetings to discuss ways to remove obstacles, and launching joint economic activities to introduce and promote investment opportunities available in the two friendly countries, especially in developing the private health sector, medical tourism, and pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, referring to the investment climate. He also affirmed the desire of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry to develop bilateral relations, especially in the economic, investment, commercial and tourism fields to achieve common aspirations, given the importance of the current promising opportunities offered by the Kingdom in various sectors.
The President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomed all initiatives aimed at strengthening Bahraini-Thai economic relations, and all steps taken to raise the level of cooperation between business owners in the two friendly countries, praising the key role played by Ambassador Piyabak Sricharoen in this regard.
The Thai envoy expressed his pride in the friendly relations between Thailand, which, he said, contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation and increasing the volume of bilateral trade.
