New York, March 9 (BNA): The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Jamal Faris Al-Rowaie, participated in the high-level open debate of the Security Council on women, peace and security. held on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The ambassador renewed the Kingdom’s support for all international efforts to advance women, ensure gender balance in all development and humanitarian fields, and enhance women’s contribution as an active partner in security and peace at all levels. He stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, places at the forefront of its national priorities maintaining the highest levels of social security in a way that supports women’s participation in all fields. .
