Riyadh, Jan. 10 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Trade Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro participated in the second annual ministerial round table meeting on the future of minerals.
The meeting comes within the framework of the second edition of the International Mining Conference, which was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
They discussed enabling the creation of resilient mineral value chains across the main region from Africa to West and Central Asia, with the participation of ministers, representatives of government delegations, representatives of multilateral organizations and agencies, leaders in the mining and metals sector, and NGOs from countries in the region.
It focused on the region’s ability to contribute to the growing global development of important mineral value chains, encourage responsible mining, and increase the value of our region’s mineral wealth by becoming the suppliers of choice.
