Manama, July 20 (BNA) The Chairman of the Human Rights Committee and a member of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee in the House of Representatives, Representative Ammar Ahmed Al-Bannai, praised Bahrain’s civilized achievement in maintaining its first rank. The US State Department’s 2022 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report placed Bahrain in first place.

Al-Bannai stressed that the achievement is the fruit of the comprehensive development project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which always emphasizes the importance of ensuring human rights as a national strategy for the Kingdom of Bahrain to advance the state of institutions and institutions. Law. He added that the National Action Charter, the 2002 Constitution and the constitutional amendments approved by the legislative authority ensured greater respect for human rights.

He pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain has always been keen to strengthen the legal and institutional environment and enforce laws to protect human rights and combat human trafficking.
