Manama, April 27 (BNA): Labor Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, Chairman of the Occupational Safety and Health Council, praised the development of Bahraini legislation and laws in protecting the workforce from all types of accidents, injuries and occupational diseases. He stressed the increasing importance that the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attaches to promoting occupational health and safety.
In a statement on the occasion of the International Day for Safety and Health at Work, which falls on April 28, the Minister of Labor affirmed that occupational safety and health indicators over the past years reflect the great national efforts made in this context to ensure work safety and security. The minister emphasized the importance of addressing the causes of occupational accidents at work sites.
