Sharm El-Sheikh, November 14 (BNA) The Director General of the Environment Public Authority in Kuwait Sheikh Abdullah Ahmad Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah visited the Bahrain pavilion at the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention. on Climate Change (COP27), currently in session here.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Hamoud was briefed on the pavilion’s exhibits and the Kingdom’s efforts and achievements locally, regionally and internationally in the field of environmental protection and climate change, its programmes, activities and innovations that achieve sustainable development goals.
He praised the depth of the two brotherly countries’ relations and cooperation in various fields, especially the environment and climate.
He was also briefed on the Kingdom’s projects in the renewable and clean energy sector, and its awareness-raising initiatives aimed at enhancing social awareness of the issue of climate change.
He praised the effective participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain in COP27, expressing his thanks and appreciation to all participants in the Kingdom’s pavilion for their good organization and outstanding presentation.
