Manama, Mar. 12 (BNA): Senator Silvia del Rosario Giacomo, Speaker of the Parliament of Latin America and the Caribbean, stressed the importance of Bahrain’s role in the region in promoting coexistence.
“Bahrain’s role in the region is crucial and has made coexistence possible. People of all faiths can live together in peace and all religions can coexist peacefully.
Senator Silvia del Rosario participates in the 146th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and related meetings held in Bahrain.
Member of the Serbian National Assembly in Parliament, Milan Radin, also praised Bahrain’s position and expressed his positive impressions of the Kingdom.
If you ask me about Bahrain, we have seen that Bahrain is developing. “We have seen all the things that Bahrain strives to achieve,” he said.
He said that Bahrain is so developed that other countries should look to it as an example to follow.
“We think it’s a good reason for other countries to follow suit, including Serbia.”
The Inter-Parliamentary Union is an international organization that works to promote democratic governance, accountability and cooperation among its members.
