Bahrain’s ambassador attends meeting in Moscow

Moscow, March 15 (BNA): Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Russia. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati, attended the meeting held by the President of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, with the ambassadors of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Moscow.

The meeting was held on the occasion of the organization’s announcement of the opening of Kazan as the capital of Islamic youth for 2022, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov.

During the meeting, President Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the ambassadors, calling on the youth of Islamic countries to participate in the various cultural and sports events that will be held this year in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.

Lavrov expressed his country’s pride in the relations of friendship and cooperation with the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, noting that the Russian Federation is one of the largest European countries that include Muslim citizens.
