Bucharest, September 26 (BNA) Minister of Transport and Communications Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi met with the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao on the sidelines of the International Telecommunication Union’s Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-22).
The two parties reviewed the policies and initiatives taken by the Kingdom to support the process of developing information and communication technology.
The meeting commended the progress made in digital transformation in Bahrain using modern technologies to ensure high quality and efficient services.
The Secretary-General praised the advanced Bahraini telecommunications sector.
