Bahraini-Turkish Friendship Committee meets with Turkish ambassador

Manama, Apr. 12 (BNA): Members of the Bahraini-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Committee praised the growing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Turkey and the joint keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation.

This came during a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Esin Çakil.

The members of the committee affirmed the legislative authority’s keenness to strengthen parliamentary relations with brotherly and friendly countries in a way that serves common interests.

The Turkish ambassador thanked the Speaker of Parliament and members of the Bahraini-Turkish Friendship Committee for the fruitful meeting, praising the advanced level of bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation. It also expressed its appreciation for Bahrain’s supportive efforts in providing humanitarian and relief aid to Turkey in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake.
