Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa welcomed the Turkish minister and his accompanying delegation, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to enhance cooperation between the two countries mainly in the financial, economic, trade, investment and development fields.
During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of standardization was signed. The two ministers also reviewed ways of developing cooperation between the two friendly countries in various vital fields, exploring investment opportunities and exchanging experiences.
In the same context, the Minister of Finance and National Economy announced that the Kingdom of Bahrain granted Turkey the status of an “accredited partner” for the International Center for Sea and Air Freight Services in the Kingdom, with the aim of developing links with various economic sectors and attracting investments with a competitive advantage.
