Bahraini Farmers’ Market contributed to meeting shoppers’ needs

Manama, April 2 (BNA): Farmers confirmed that the Bahraini Farmers Market, which opened this year during the holy month of Ramadan, provided a new shopping experience and succeeded in meeting a large part of the demand for vegetables for all. Varieties during the blessed month, adding that she contributed to the marketing of her products, especially since the agricultural harvest season is still going on.

The Bahrain Farmers Market opened on March 25 and April 1 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in addition to the Ramadan Night Shopping Festival, which constituted a new shopping experience during the month of Ramadan.

The farmers affirmed that they benefited greatly from the opening of the celebration during the holy month of Ramadan, expressing their hope that the experiment would continue in the coming years.

They pointed out that it contributed to meeting a large part of shoppers’ needs of vegetables of all kinds.

They praised the efforts of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs and the Organizing Committee to prepare the site for the market during the current month.

The Bahrain Farmers Market is celebrating its 10th birthday^y The anniversary is under the slogan “Our Harvest is Bahraini”.

Up to 32 farmers, four agricultural companies, five nurseries, four apiaries, four activities specialized in dates, and 20 productive families are participating in the tenth edition of the peasant market, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development.

The organizing committee has also allocated a children’s village, which has attracted more than 15,000 children with various events and activities that constitute a qualitative addition to the market since its launch on December 10, 2022.
