Manama, October 23 (BNA) The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the statement issued by the President of the United Nations Security Council condemning the Houthi terrorist attacks on the lands and civilian facilities of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which reflects the Houthis’ insistence on rejection. Calls for a cease-fire in Yemen, and to engage in the political process to restore security and stability there.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the statement, which expresses international support for the sincere efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis and stop the deterioration of the humanitarian conditions of the brotherly Yemeni people as a result.
