Manama, July 22 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the signing of an agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Ukraine to resume the export of grain from Russia and Ukraine through the Black Sea, in the presence of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, noting that it is an important step. It will contribute to providing food security for the countries affected by the war in Ukraine, covering the shortage of grain and addressing the high prices around it. the scientist.


In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the good efforts made by the United Nations and the Republic of Turkey to reach this agreement, which reflects Russia and Ukraine’s keenness to meet the world’s needs of this necessary food commodity, stressing that negotiations and dialogue are the best ways to reach constructive solutions to the contentious issues between the two countries. Including a ceasefire and a peaceful settlement of the conflict to enhance security and stability on the European and global arenas.
