Manama, June 2 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the announcement by the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, to extend the armistice in the Republic of Yemen for two additional months, in accordance with the terms of the basic agreement that entered into force on the second of April.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs valued the efforts of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General, and the response of the leadership of the Arab coalition to support legitimacy and the Yemeni parties with his efforts to extend the armistice that comes in the context of the announced initiative.
