Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): The first round of political consultations was held between Bahrain and Vietnam.
The Bahraini side is headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and on the Vietnamese side, Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Hue.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation in various political, economic, scientific, artistic and cultural fields.
The two sides discussed regional and international issues to ensure the consolidation of international peace and security, and to support the goals of sustainable development.
