The Nikkei Asia Recovery Index for COVID-19 ranked the Kingdom of Bahrain first in the Arab world

The Nikkei Asia COVID-19 Recovery Index assesses the epidemiological response of 121 countries based on nine factors, divided into three categories: infection management, vaccine release, and mobility.

The higher the ranking, the closer the country to recovery — with fewer infections, higher vaccination rates and less strict social distancing measures.
