Bahrain to play Saudi Arabia in a friendly match on Sunday

Qatif, December 18 (BNA): Bahrain will host tomorrow, Sunday, the friendly international handball tournament to be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The friendly match is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm at Prince Nayef Sports Stadium in the Qatif region.

The tournament comes within the framework of preparations for the 20th Asian Handball Championship, which will start on January 18 in Dammam, in the east of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Asian Championship is the qualifiers for the 2023 Men’s Handball World Cup in Poland and Sweden.

Led by Iceland coach Aaron Kristjnojon, the national team lost its first friendly match in the tournament against Egypt with just one goal, while Saudi Arabia beat Morocco.
