This occasion is an opportunity to shed light on the efforts of the Ministry of Health in caring for AIDS patients. Enhancing preventive measures and reviewing the latest developments related to this disease locally and internationally.

Bahrain attaches great importance to following up the epidemiological situation of AIDS, as the Kingdom has given the health and safety of society a top priority. And it approved laws and urged that more efforts be made to reduce the disease and achieve sustainable development goals in line with the Kingdom’s strategic directions to serve society and protect the rights of the injured.

The Kingdom has shown great keenness to combat the disease through its tireless work to enhance health and social awareness and international solidarity in the face of the epidemic, and to enhance prevention and provide treatment for patients carrying the virus.
