Bahrain to host 7th MENA Stroke Congress

Manama, October 18 (BNA) Bahrain will host the Seventh Stroke Conference for the Middle East and North Africa (the Seventh Stroke Conference for the Middle East and North Africa) from November 5-6.

Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Bahrain Neuroscience Society of the Bahrain Medical Society is organizing the Seventh Stroke Conference for the Middle East and North Africa.

In her comment, the President of the Bahrain Society of Neurosciences, Dr. Fatima Abdullah, said that the event is being held in cooperation with reputable international scientific entities, including the Middle East and North Africa Stroke Organization (MENA Stroke), the World Stroke Organization, and the European Stroke Organization Cerebrovascular, American Heart Association and Arab Federation of Neurological Societies (PAUNS).

She added that 38 doctors and consultants from Bahrain, the region and other parts of the world will give lectures during the MENA Stroke Conference.

She expressed her pride in the Kingdom’s hosting of this prestigious conference, noting that it will add to Bahrain’s achievements, as it will contribute to the development of the health and medical services system in the Kingdom, and enhance cooperation with relevant regional and international organizations.
