Bahrain to host 2021 Asian Youth Para Games

Manama, November 8 (BNA) The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the 2021 Asian Youth Games, which will be held from November 27 to December 8.

This event comes in line with the objectives of highlighting the Kingdom’s leadership and ability to host regional, continental and international sporting events that contribute to making Bahrain the capital of sports and youth sports.

Ahmed Al Hindawi, a 17-year-old Para athlete describes how he started swimming: “I started swimming almost 5 years ago and have loved it ever since. With my love for swimming I decided to train and work hard until I gained all the experience and techniques I needed to compete at the higher level. I am looking forward to To appear and compete in the upcoming Asian Youth Para Games in Bahrain, with the hope of winning medals and making my country proud.”

He added, “We have entered the advanced stages of our training in preparation for the upcoming tournament, where we will train up to 3 hours per day at an increasing pace, focusing primarily on increasing our physical fitness and practicing our tactics and competition strategies, which will definitely work in our favor against our competitors.”

Al-Hendawy continues, “Since the beginning of our training, I set myself goals that I strive to achieve, one of which is to win a gold medal at the Asian Youth Games. My other ambitions include reaching and succeeding in international tournaments.”

Speaking about what the upcoming Games mean to him, Al-Hendawy expressed his happiness, saying: “The upcoming Asian Youth Games means a lot to me, because it gives me the drive and motivation to reach my goals, and allows me to achieve my dreams. And the passion to become a good player, get medals and represent My country “.

Al Hindawi talks about his training saying: “I am grateful and honored to have all this support from my family who have been there for me through all the difficulties and training and always cheering me on in the stands during the competition.
