Manama, March 30 (BNA): Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council, President of the Court of Cassation, Counsellor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain, Attorney General, Dr. Ali bin Fadl Al Buainain and Minister of Justice. During the meeting, which was attended by officials from the Ministry of Justice, judges and members of the Public Prosecution Office, they welcomed the visit of the Saudi Minister of Justice and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom.
They reviewed projects to develop the Bahraini judicial system, including mainly the implementation of the Restorative Justice for Children and Protection from Abuse Law, the Alternative Procedures and Punishments Law, the Civil and Commercial Execution Law, the Legal Case Management System, and treatment in criminal cases. cases.
The visiting delegation was also briefed on the strategic initiatives (2021-2025) put forward by the Ministry of Justice to enhance access to justice, which are based on seven pillars to be implemented over five years.
The five-year strategy aims to develop the legal and judicial work environment, enhance the role of licensees in dispute resolution, engage the private sector, serve the public, improve the predictability of judgments and criminal justice procedures, and develop judicial and digital procedures. Courts, practicing the legal profession, and promoting an environment that protects the family and children.
The meeting also reviewed the applications of digital transformation in the justice sector, through which the automation of all procedures before the courts was completed, and thus the development of an integrated and fully electronic system, starting from the filing of the lawsuit until the stage of filing the lawsuit.
