Bahrain Post issues National Day commemorative stamps

Manama, Dec. 16 (BNA): Bahrain Post at the Ministry of Transport issued a set of four postage stamps bearing the image of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s national holidays, to celebrate the founding of the modern era. The state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic country was founded by Ahmad Al-Fateh in 1783, on the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations, and the anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to power.

This year, Bahrain Post chose the National Action Charter and its impressive edifice as the theme of its new publication in celebration of national events and documenting them, the most important of which is the document that crystallized Bahrain’s reform project and contributed to its comprehensive renaissance. .

The names of more than 220,000 citizens who participated in the referendum on the Charter are inscribed on the walls of the National Action Charter, which is a cultural landmark distinguished by its unique architecture.

Commemorative stamps of 500 fils and the first-day issue set at a price of two and a half dinars are available at the Postal Museum and all Bahrain Post branches.
