New York, May 7 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain and Nauru signed a joint statement on the establishment of diplomatic relations based on the common desire to develop peaceful and cooperative relations in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter and the provisions of the United Nations Charter. Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.
The statement was signed by Ambassador Jamal Faris Al-Ruwaie, Permanent Representative of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and Ambassador Margot Dee, Permanent Representative of Nauru to the United Nations in New York.
