Bahrain National Robotics Competition gets underway

Manama, November 7 (BNA) The 11th edition of the Bahrain National Robotics Competition was inaugurated today, under the auspices of the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Chairman of the Public Authority for Sports. President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.


The Ministry of Education is organizing a two-day competition sponsored by Britos Educational Foundation. The competition will be held at Al Areen Palace and Spa, with the participation of 222 male and female students who form 74 teams from public and private schools.


On the first day, students participating in the competition competed in three main categories: Robomission, Roboaport and Future Innovator. The winning teams will book a place at the World Robot Olympiad, which will be hosted by Germany from 17-19 November 2022.
