Riyadh, December 6 (BNA): The qualifiers for the 2023 Handball World Cup (Men’s World Cup 2023) will start in Saudi Arabia on January 18.
Seventeen teams will compete in the tournament, which is scheduled to run until January 31, vying for a berth in the 2023 Men’s World Cup to be held in Sweden and Poland.
The national handball team fell into Group D along with Japan, Hong Kong, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
The Saudi national team plays in Group B along with Australia, India and Iran. Kuwait and Jordan were drawn in Group A, along with Singapore and South Korea. Group C includes the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iraq and Oman.
