Bahrain national basketball team to play Syria on Friday

Manama, June 28 (BNA) The Bahrain national basketball team headed to the Syrian city of Aleppo to play the penultimate match of the 2023 Basketball World Cup.

The national team will meet with the Syrian national team on Friday at 6 pm (Bahrain time) at the Hamdaniya Sports Stadium in Aleppo as part of Group D.

The national team will then head to Nur-Sultan to face Kazakhstan on July 4 at 5 pm in the last qualifying match.

The delegation includes team manager Noah Al-Najaf, administrative official Musa Jaafar, in addition to the coach, his assistant and 12 players.

Walid Al-Alawi, Chairman of the Bahrain Basketball Association, wished the national team success in the last two matches. The national team will also participate in the Asian Cup, which will take place in Indonesia.
