Bahrain marks World Hearing Day 2022

Manama, March 3 (BNA): Today, the Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates World Hearing Day 2022, which falls on March 3 of each year.

The international community celebrated this year’s edition of Hear for Life, Hear for Life.

World Hearing Day aims to raise awareness about how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and to promote ear and hearing care around the world.

The main message of the annual Celebration Day is that there are many common, preventable causes of hearing loss, including hearing loss caused by exposure to loud sounds in the workplace.

Attention focuses on the importance of safe listening as a way to maintain good hearing throughout life, and highlights that timely and effective intervention can ensure that people with hearing impairment are able to achieve their full potential.

The letter also stresses the need to facilitate access to education, employment and communication for people with a hearing impairment, through the availability of the latest therapeutic technologies, hearing aids and assistive devices, and the provision of early intervention through health systems.
