Manama, May 25 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to maximize the achievements of the Gulf Cooperation Council, within the framework of continuous cooperation and coordination between the leaders of the GCC countries.
In a statement, Dr. Al-Zayani offered his warmest congratulations to the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Cooperation Council.
He also congratulated the leaders of the GCC states on the successive achievements made by the bloc as a model of strategic integration between its member states and brotherly peoples, thanks to the geographical and civilizational rapprochement between them and the common religion, blood, history, language and common destiny.
Dr. Al-Zayani pointed out that the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries are inspired by the approach of the founding fathers, in their keenness to maintain strength, cohesion and unity among the member states, in order to achieve more coordination and interdependence in all fields, in a greater way. In this regard, Dr. Al-Zayani expressed his appreciation for the keynote speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad during his participation in the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah, noting the royal support for the establishment of a renewed and balanced regional system that guarantees stability and prosperity for the region.
