Bahrain Islamic Index closes higher

Manama, April 26 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 2,059.30 points, recording a decrease of 8.68 points from the previous close.

This decrease is attributed to the decrease in the materials sector, the sector and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 732.76 points, an increase of 4.82 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 103 stock transactions with a volume of 5,305,320 were executed, with a value of 1,524,495 BD.

Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 86.08% of the total value of traded securities.
