BTEA announces voluntary contributions to support National Council for Arts

Manama, April 26 (BNA) The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority announced that tourist facilities in the form of hotels, hotel apartments, furnished apartments and tourist restaurants will start collecting voluntary donations from customers in the amount of Bahraini dinars. 1 per bill to support the National Council on the Arts as of May.

The authority stated that the voluntary contribution will be added to the exit bill for customers and residents of hotels, hotel apartments and furnished apartments, and it will be added to the bill of internal food orders for those who visit restaurants.

A customer can request a new invoice that does not include the amount of the voluntary contribution, the BTEA said.
