Bahrain Islamic Index closes higher

Manama, March 15 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,898.89 points, recording a decrease of 7.52 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the communications services and materials sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 658.84 points, an increase of 2.40 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 62 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 1,902,280, with a value of 834,599 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the material sector, accounting for 80.35% of the total value of securities traded.
