Manama, November 6 (BNA) The sixth edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS 2022) will be launched on November 9-11 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee, is overseeing the huge parade organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force.

The exhibitions launched ten years ago will host 100 high-level civilian and military delegations from around the world, connecting companies with key decision makers and executives in the aviation sector.

Up to 120 leading companies are also scheduled to participate in the 2022 edition, which covers an area of 14,000 square metres. Five countries will have their own pavilions, in addition to the Kingdom of Bahrain pavilion.

The exhibition has become an outstanding platform to meet key industry players in the region, providing opportunities for networking and building value-added relationships, as well as cementing Bahrain’s leading position as a gateway to the larger regional market. The exhibition is expected to witness a large presence of Saudi and Emirati companies operating in the aviation sector.

The exhibition encourages Bahraini entrepreneurs and startups, as some projects in the field of catering will have the opportunity to participate in the family space, which is an entertainment area open to the public and located near the trade fair.

BIAS 2022 will also support science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs, through parallel events to the exhibition that include educational activities to encourage Bahraini youth to pursue careers in the aviation sector.
