Bahrain, Czech relations, cooperation reviewed

Prague, June 4 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Czech Republic residing in Berlin Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah met with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Martin Tlapa on the sidelines of the Gulf-Czech Investment Forum.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Middle East Department Peter Halliday, Director of Economic Affairs at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marek Svoboda and Director General of Bahrain Mumtalakat Raed Fakhri.

The two sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic, investment and cultural fields.

They also discussed prospects for cooperation at the European level, with Prague taking over the EU’s rotating presidency in July.

The meeting dealt with regional and international issues of common interest.
