Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by an official of the new Israeli government.
The ministry indicated in a statement today that this provocative act is a violation of the principles of international law.
He stressed the need to respect the existing historical and legal situation in Jerusalem and not to interfere in the guardianship role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan over holy sites and endowments in accordance with international resolutions.
The ministry called for stopping the escalation, restraint, and refraining from any actions that would escalate tension in the holy places.
