Bahrain conclude participation in Ship for World Youth

Manama, May 26 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, attended the closing ceremony of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation in the 34th edition of the World Youth Ship, in the presence of Japan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Miyamoto Masayuki.

Delegations from the Kingdom of Bahrain have been participating in the World Youth Ship since 1998.

In a speech delivered at the ceremony, the minister praised the participants in the World Youth Ship over the past sessions, and thanked them for representing the Kingdom of Bahrain and showcasing its ancient culture and values.

The Ambassador of Japan praised the participation of Bahrainis in the World Youth Ship, stressing its importance in building bridges of communication.

Vice President of the World Youth Association, Khalid Al Al-Sheikh, delivered a speech in which he praised the support of the Minister of Youth Affairs and the Ambassador of Japan for Bahraini youth.

He stressed the importance of the presence of Bahraini youth delegations on board the ship as one of the pioneering programs that develop the relations of the world’s youth.
