Bahrain Bourse participates in SCMF 2023


Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): Bahrain Bourse participated in the second edition of the Saudi Capital Market Forum 2023.

The event was held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Capital Market Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Al-Quwaiz. In parallel with the forum, Sheikh Khalifa attended the seventh meeting of the Gulf Stock Exchanges Committee to discuss recent developments in the regional capital markets.

The conference highlighted issuers, investors and other market players for two days of dialogue and discussion with the aim of advancing regional capital markets, and is an important event for issuers and investors both regionally and internationally.

The CEO of the Bahrain Stock Exchange, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, thanked the Saudi Tadawul Group and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for hosting the platform to discuss key topics related to the development of regional capital markets and determine the future of regional capital markets by engaging professionals from all over the region in the workshops. and panel discussions.

“There is no doubt that the region is embarking on a bold economic transformation, and the promotion of regional capital markets through this initiative is an important factor in the region’s integration with a growing group of global institutional investors, which makes the participation of the Bahrain Stock Exchange even more important,” Al-Shaikh said. Khalifa said.

With the support of thought leaders in the financial sector, the Forum has curated content to be delivered across four tracks that reflect the past, present and future of the capital markets.
