Manama, January 5 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1.796.08 points, recording a decrease of 0.41 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the financial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 762.17 points, recording an increase of 0.31 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 51 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 2,130,656, with a value of BD 664,924.
Investors mainly trade in the materials sector and represent 65.25% of the total value of traded securities.
