Manama, May 24 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,961.89 points, an increase of 0.56 points from the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial sector and the materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 719.64 points, recording a decrease of 2.13 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 74 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 3,465,564, with a value of 1,238,115 Bahraini Dinars.
Investors trade mainly in the financial sector accounting for 75.17% of the total value of securities traded.
