Bahrain All Share Index, Islamic Index end trading higher

Manama, October 4 (BNA) The Bahrain General Index closed at 1708.86 points, recording an increase of 3.80 points over the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial sector, the real estate sector, and the consumer goods sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 676.16 points, recording an increase of 4.45 points over the previous closing.

The results indicated that 115 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 4,379,094, with a value of BD 727,420.

Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 57.03% of the total value of traded securities.
