Manama, October 4 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, received lawyer Nada Al-Riyashi, who presented him with a copy of a master’s thesis entitled “Alternative Punishments and Their Impact on the Criminal Phenomenon”.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors praised the efforts made in legal research and comparative study to implement Law No. 18/2017 regarding penalties and alternative measures, its effectiveness and its impact on society.
He wished the lawyer more success in her scientific and research career.
The lawyer expressed her appreciation for the Chairman’s support for researchers and scientific research, and his continuous encouragement for intellectual and literary publications.
