Bahrain All Share Index, Islamic Index end trading higher

Manama, November 21 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed today at 1,862.66 points, an increase of 1.39 points from the previous close.


This increase is attributed to the rise in the consumer goods sector and the financial sector.


The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 662.10 points, an increase of 1.87 points from the previous close.


The results indicated that 37 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 1,116,271, with a value of 247,767 Bahraini Dinars.


Investors trade mainly in the financial sector accounting for 48.31% of the total value of securities traded.
