Manama, September 19 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed today at 1,936.36 points, recording a decrease of 1.59 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the financial sector and the consumer goods sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 675.26 points, recording a decrease of 1.60 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 110 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 2,159,427, with a value of 546,196 Bahraini dinars.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 45.77% of the total value of traded securities.
