Bahrain All Share Index marks higher

Manama, January 29 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,929.86 points, an increase of 2.23 points from the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial sector, the materials sector and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 657.98 points, recording a decrease of 0.07 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 54 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 775,791, with a value of 271,810 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the materials sector, accounting for 25.48% of the total value of securities traded.
