Manama, March 27 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 2,080.43 points, an increase of 47.61 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the increase in the financial and materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 738.38 points, recording an increase of 4.52 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 83 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 3,237,791 with a value of 620,927 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 74.52% of the total value of traded securities.
