Manama, April 12 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 2,103.71 points, recording an increase of 4.16 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial and materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of 735.90 points, recording a decrease of 1.24 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 85 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 8,611,581 with a value of 3,022,939 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 94.34% of the total value of traded securities.
