Bahrain All Share Index closes lower

Manama, November 22 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,786.84 points, recording a decrease of 6.68 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the telecom services sector, the financial sector and the real estate sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of 734.02 points, recording a decrease of 10.45 points from the previous closing.

The results indicated that 89 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 2,879,072 with a value of BD 597,561.

Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 76.89% of the total value of traded securities.
